I ate really well Saturday, even at a catered dinner after Aunt Helen's funeral :'(.
At the luncheon, I filled half my plate with salad, drizzled 1 spoonful (appx. 1T) of dressing, and then filled the rest of my plate with mixed fruit, and 1/2 an Italian sausage with red peppers and onions. My plate was mostly fruits and vegetables! Victory. I had an extremely small piece of cake (1" by 1"), which was still within my points for the day.
When I got home, Ang ordered pizza and I ate 2 slices (even though points did not allow for this). I also had 1 sticky bun, but this was justified because it was Aunt Helen's recipe and we all remember her for these. My dad made them and left a full batch at home. I only had 1.
It's a new day, I started over. I just feel like I sabotaged my 10% that was supposed to happen tomorrow. I'm going to weigh in on Saturday morning this week. I really want to give myself the extra few days to recover from last night. Also, it's also a good plan because we are camping this weekend and I will have extra points.
I decided that for my goal, I want a Coach bag. I saw this super-cute new style swingpack (they are smaller), and I'm leaning towards this. However, they will probably be different when I reach my goal. That's okay though. I discussed this with the ladies at the Coach store and of course they were like ,"oh get it now and have your bf hide it." No. Reaching goals does not work that way, you don't buy your gift before you reach your goal. If I did, and hid it until goal (a few more months...) I would probably be bored with it already and not like it because, realistically, I would have owned it for a few months and it would be "old news" to me. If I get it when I reach my goal, I can immediately use it and it won't just be collecting dust in closet.
I really want popcorn today! I threw out a box of it today that I found because the expiration date was from 2009, lol. Apparently popcorn does not get touched in my house. Ang's bf went to buy her Dark Chocolate M&M's (mmmmm) and he's picking me up some 94%FF popcorn. I'm excited.
