Well, the 7 weeks of boot camp at the rec center has done nothing. My strength is actually down. I got an assessment today and it was terrible. I spend too much time doing exercises that apparently aren't doing anything. How's that for discouragement? At least I'm doing a pretty decent job food-wise, though my family likes to keep tons of JUNK here. I HATE that I'm known as the "healthy eater." I'd rather be known as the "eating for how our body was designed eater." Okay, no more venting. I'm definitely stronger because my family eats horrible. In 90% of the cases, I will say no thanks. I want to eat better yet, with less sweets. I used to eat sweets with every meal, now I can get away with doing it once per day. I want to have it be more like once every other day. Anyways...
I stopped at the grocery store totally intending on getting lettuce and celery. I forgot to get celery (craving this w/almond butter). Picked up watermelon, clementines, organic oatmeal, dark chocolate, and lettuce. I want it all right now. I still will have to make another trip for the celery, but I can wait. Also, I'm going to have to stop and get some stuff for this camping weekend.
Today's intake thus far:
Breakfast (late..10:30/11..I was slow moving today.):
Protein Shake: 1 scoop Jay Robb Vanilla PP, 1/4c. raspberries (frozen), 1/4 c. blackberries (frozen), 1/2 c. blueberries (frozen), and 1T natural almond butter (yummmm)- 5 points
Lunch (late again..3:30!)
Salad. 1 cup lettuce, 1T Grapeseed oil, seasoning, 3 ounces of chicken.- 6 points.
As of right now, I have 10 points remaining.
Still really bummed about my fitness.
